Greek Night

Friday 7th August saw the return of our ever-popular Zouvani’s Greek Night here at Brasted’s.

The barn was fully booked and thanks to a glorious evening guests were able to enjoy an aperitif al fresco before taking their seats for dinner.

The five course menu included a selection of Greek dips with homemade pitta, a feta and watermelon salad, Aegean Kakavia (fish stew) and fragrant fillet of lamb kleftiko, finished with a warm honey pudding, pistachio ice cream and Kataifi shards. The evening included half a bottle of wine per person and guests were also treated to an authentic Cypriot brandy to accompany their coffee.

Hosted by our very own Michael Zouvani, the evening was a fabulous occasion. We were delighted that guests entered into the spirit of the occasion as they clapped along to traditional Greek music and embraced the country’s custom for large gatherings accompanied by mouth-watering food and drink, which you know, is what we are all about here at Brasted’s.
